Use of the release tab in JIRA

Goodday

I got a question from one of my teammembers which I can't seem to answer;

'..and is it possible to set up a filter in the Releases tab, so that only the issues, with the status  "RELEASE TO ACCEPTANCE" or "RELEASE TO PRODUCTION" of current sprint appear there..' 

Is there some easy way to fix this (cant seem to find an solution for this)

Hi @John Warnas 

No, the releases tab will display versions that you create in the project not the issues. When you click on individual release then the issues under it get displayed but there are no configurable filters available in this view.

Users can obviously create your own filter based on status along with specific versions.
