User Directory on Jira Server

Hello,

We use User Directory and sync with Microsoft Active Directory on Jira Server. If I unsync (due to migrating to Cloud) and update the email address can I still use the same password or do the users need to reset their password?

always use their AD account's password.  Even if you migrate to the cloud the user would still use their AD password.  You will want to try and update the same directory and resync so you do not end up with duplicate accounts.  You should also test the process on a test instance to see what the impact is if you can do so.
