User/Role and permission problems Service Desk

Hi,

I am admin of a Service Desk. 

In users and roles I have selected "Jira-users" with role "Service Desk Customers".

In permission I can see that Service Desk Customers with portal access should be able to browse projects and the issues within them.

But they are still not allowed to access anything. What is wrong?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!!

Please go to the Service Desk Project and go to the customers and all the customers in to that.

In Project Settings?

 

I can't find Customers there, only Customer Permissions.
