User assign problem

Keven Alex Oliveira Lopes May 9, 2019

Hello,

I have a huge problem regarding the assign of the user.

It shows the following message:

"Failed to Retrieve User 557058:8a86ce8a-6ccd-4e3c-8959-d73d7b80c66d"

Can you help me with this point.

I have been getting these messages this morning. New project that was set up using a CSV import. Have not seen this particular message before.

This is the first result to show up in search, but original issue created back in May?

Ditto, widespread issue?

I hope it is an Atlassian issue. It is across all my tix.

Keven Alex Oliveira Lopes May 10, 2019

@Keven Alex Oliveira Lopes   it might be that  this user has been  deleted ,  it like   you are using the  new  jira  issue  view in  cloud,  in  which  we don't have the  Activity tab"  so  that we could get  any  info  about  user,  you  would  need to  do  this  from  database,  which  you don't have access.  You  may need  to  create a ticket  in  atlassian  support  see support policy Support policy or wait  for  some one to  attend to  you  here.

Keven Alex Oliveira Lopes May 10, 2019

Yes maybe this is the case, but its too many tickets for just one user.

I tried to enter the link you provide but Page not found.

Can you provide me the link to create a ticket for Atlassian please.

Was there a resolution to this issue? I am getting the same "Failed to Retrieve User" to almost every new tix created in my company. All the users are active users.

Kimberly Chrislip June 24, 2019

Issue is now resolved/fixed itself on my end. Believe it may have been a server issue on Atlassian end.
