The following message displays when trying to log in via Chrome browser which I have been using all along. I can however use microsoft edge. I prefer Chrome though. I have cleared all extensions, in fact there was only one. I don't know what to do further.
We couldn’t log you in
You may run into this issue when you use specific browsers or add-ons that hide the referer header for id.atlassian.com and other Atlassian sites. Check for these and then try logging in again.

Please try clearing the cookies and cache. That usually does the trick.
