User can't see issues from this year

One of our user can't see any issue posted or modified this year.

(JIRA server with  Crowd connected to an Oracle DB)

User has the right permissions for the project. She is part of jira-users group. This group has the role "users" in the project, role users is allowed to "Browse projects".

Nevertheless she can't see any issue, which has been generated or changed in the near past (as it looks any date 2019 won't work, while 2018 works).

I did the following so far: remove the the jira-users group, synced the user dir, re added the group an re-synced again. Still same problem.

Any ideas?
