Hi there,
We have a user that is added to a particular project as a member and can view individual issues without a problem. However, he cannot view the board or backlog. I've checked the permissions scheme for this project, and any logged in user has the ability to browse projects and manage sprints. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.

Hi Andrea - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Access to the board is controlled by the filter attached to the board and who it is shared with. The permission scheme does not come into play is this case.
