I received a report from a user that was able to create a simple search filter in JQL using 'labels' yet was unable to switch back to 'Basic' view. Furthermore, while in Basic view, they were unable to select 'Label' as a filter criteria using the '+More' button.
When I am attempting to search in the exact same project, I can both select 'Label' using '+More' and also swap between Basic & JQL views for the filter I created.
I have different permissions than this user - could that explain the difference? If so, what role in a project is required in order to select 'Label' from 'basic view'?
We have recently migrated from server to cloud, and my suspicion is that this was working differently before.
JQL example: project = ABC and labels = "some-text"
I think there's more to this than the user has expressed. I would recommend working with the user to have them reproduce it and get the details. My theory here is that something in the advanced JQL does not translate into the basic search capabilities.
