User reports missing worklog entries

We use Tempo for time tracking and just this morning has a user report that sometimes the worklog entries are missing when he checks the following day.  I'm trying to understand possible causes for this as I've not seen this myself and typically create about 100 worklogs per month.  

Additionally, I directly accessed the database and didn't see any orphaned worklogs in the worklog table.

I'm curious to know whether or not anyone else has seen or experienced this issue?

I have never seen this. If the issue doesn't show the worklog creation and removal in history then I would suspect the problem is on the user's side. In-browser problems or a general misunderstanding of the process.

My general suspicion aligns with your assessment.  The user entered their time last night and it's still there this morning.
