User should not be able to see Release Issues in Issue Links of Defect Issues In Jira.

Hi Guys, 

We have a Jira Project in our company with Defect and Release Issue Types. Now our requirement is user should not be able to see Release Issues in Issue Links Drop Down of Defect Issue to Link. Can anyone have idea to achieve it. Please find attached screen shot for your reference.

Hello Dinesh,

Unfortunately, the restriction of the issue link functionality based on Issue types are not available at this moment for JIRA, however, some of our third-party partners have developed some add-ons that can help you with this:

- Easy Links For JIRA - This free app allows you to restrict which issues are available to be linked by giving a JQL expression.

- Extended Schemes for Jira - This app allows you to disable linking for specific Issue Types or whole Projects.
