User unable to access My filters or Favorite filters

User is getting "Failed to retrieve favorite filters from server" message when trying to access "My" filters or "Favorite" filters.

Per JRASERVER-59185 Remove the deleted group from the filter (Manage Filter -> select the affected filter -> Edit -> Remove the group), but our user is unable to access any of her filters, so she is unable to edit. As an admin if I search for filters with this user as the owner and try to view page 2 I get the "Sorry, we had some technical problems during your last operation". Permission have been verified user is in JiraUser group and JiraAdmins group.

Shelli,

Under your profile, have you allowed for sharing of your filters and dashboards or is it set to private?

Are you referring to User Profile - Filter and Dashboard Sharing settings "Whether to share Filters & Dashboards by default."?

The default is set to "Unshared" but the user has 47 shared filters when I query the database, but can't access any of them suddenly.

No change in results when changing the default. Still unable to access the filters.

shelli,

Only other thing  i can think of is to have the user to be part of group(s) that the filter is shared with.

It looks like all her filters are shared with projects which all have JiraAdmins listed which is one of the groups she is in.

We solved the mystery - A filter had been altered by a database sql change that is not valid causing the user to be unable to view any of her filters. Once that was corrected, the problem was resolved.
