Hello @reddy dumpala,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Just for a better understanding of the issue, I would like to know if you are using a classic or next-gen project.

If it's related to next-gen, currently Epic information such as name, color, link, and status are not available. With this said, it's not visible on the issue view or when exporting it.

If that's not the case, can you please give us more details about the issue? If possible, share a screenshot with us of how it shows on your site and when exporting the child issues.

Regards,
Angélica

Thank you for the details, Reddy.

Testing on my local site, it shows the Epic name when exporting to Excel.

If you are using Jira Cloud for Excel, to export Epic name for Stories, it's necessary to select the Epic Link.Name field.

In the Issue view, the Epic name shows only for Epics and not Stories.

If that's not the case, can you please give us more details about all the steps the user is following to export the issues?
