Hi!
I created a user only with access to a board called D1. This board filter a group of issues with certain status and it's working ok.
The user only can see the board D1 and can not see other boards of the same project.
There are some other things I want to hide to this user here the list:
How I do to this user can not see the complete list of issues in this project.
How I do to this user can not see the Components, Pages, Releases and Reports.
I only want this user can creat new issues in the backlog and can see the actual sprint on the board called D1
Thanks in advance
Natalia
Hi Natalia,
Regarding your first question and in addition to what Matthew said, you can create a security level and add it to the issues. This way the user won't be able to see issues under that security level.
This is the documentation related to Jira Cloud:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-issue-level-security-776636711.html
Regarding the second question, unfortunately, it's currently not possible to hide those options. I've created the following feature request regarding it:
Ability to hide Reports, Releases, Pages, and Components from project sidebar
You can add yourself as a watcher to it, comment and vote to increase its popularity.
Cheers,
Soane K.
I don't believe you can add permissions to a board (see configuring permissions). You can, however, add permissions to issues which might get you what you want. Here's how you would create an issue security scheme: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/configuring-issue-level-security-861253265.html
