I have a recurring issue with setting up Classic Projects in Jira Software. Each time I create a new project, there is a defaulted set of users associated with it that I must manually delete. I am curious how I can find the property that is propogating this, so that I can correct it.
The project that seems to be the source of this user community has users from inside and outside the organization. When I look at that particular project's setting, I do not see anything that indicates to use those users on all new projects.
Has anyone come across this before?
Hi Kelli,
If you go to System Settings then Project Roles, you can click on Manage Default Users to clear out the ones you don't want.

That worked perfectly! I was easily able to remove the users. I overlooked this, because the navigation menus are collapsed by default.
