Hi Community,

we have a problem that users are unable to view Active Directory (AD) groups from LDAP, except for the ones in which they are specifically located.

It shouldn't be like that; users should be able to see all AD groups. When they need to grant someone access to a filter or dashboard, they can currently do so only for individual users and not for ad-goup.

Why is that so?

Best regards, Jurica

This is expected, you can only "see" groups which you are a member of, see more here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/unable-to-share-a-dashboard-with-a-specific-group-622624843.html

As far as I know there is no setting to change that behaviour and it's there by design.
