Using Import Function for issues

If you use the import function to bulk upload multiple issues(stories) will that upload affect what is in a current backlog for a group or project? As in does this override what is currently there or just add to the backlog as new issues

Hello,

The upload will only add issues to your current Backlog with suppressing your current data. You can even import a full project if you need to.

You simply need your CSV file and follow the steps of the importation process within your Jira instance.

Hi @Kritesh Patel 

If you're uploading new issues, it'll create new issues in the project - there will be no impact to the issues you already have in there.

You can utilise the External System Import to update issues if you need to, by mapping the issue's key in the import file.
