Using Jira Markup Formatting in a Jira Form to create a hyperlink that opens in a different page

Hi, 

I have a Message Custom Field in my Jira form with details to help new users to complete the form. In this field there's a hyperlink  with more details on how to complete the form. When the user clicks on the link it opens in the same browser page. This is not ideal as users lose the information they have already provided if they click on the link. 

I've heard that we must use Jira Markup formatting to add rich content (bold, headings, links etc) in these sorts of fields.

My question then is - How can I create a link that opens in a different tab/window using Jira Markup formatting?
