Validate this custom field using script runner

By using script runner how can this be done in jira for my field invest cost.

Requirement :  Please modify both sentences:
1.00€, 1.00$ or leave it blank if zero. (as a hint in gray)
Add a number in the form of 1.00€, 1.00$ or leave it blank if zero. (validation message)

Hi @Barkha Singh ,

in order to have text in gray you need to add text "1.00€, 1.00$ or leave it blank if zero" as custom field description.

Number field custom fields just number so you can't save values with € or $ at the end.
