Validation for a transition for workflow

I want to configure the validation in jira where the issue should transition to status staging only when the System field fix version is equal to Custom field Sign-off Version else there should be a message as " Fix versions and Sign-off Versions do not match". 

Can anyone suggest what can we use in this case or a groovy script for this configuration?

@Alexey Matveev we have script runner can so can you let me know know the validation for this? How to configure this I am new to script runner.

You can user plugins like Power Scripts, ScriptRunner or Workflow Toolbox.

You should open validators tab for the transition and add the Script Validator validator. Then choose Simple Scripted validator. Add the script which checks your condition to the Condition Field and the error message to the Error Message field. Save changes and publish workflow.
