Validator-If a value for field End Date is not provided during the transition display error msg.

Dear Team

  I was trying to put Validator as below for transition to DONE.

If a value for field "End Date" is not provided during the transition, show the following error: Pls. Provide End Date. Strangely this is not working , for the first time it gives the error message when I move into Done but even after providing End Date still, I am getting the same error message.

At the same time I tried this validation for Start Date transition for "In Progress" transition it works fine.

 Can you please help me to solve this issue thanks
