We are trying to get all our teams consistent and have them use the same naming convention for the versions so they can be viewed across projects. We merged a set of versions to the new name. Now we are finding out that someone had set up a Version Picker custom field called Fix Versions and those fields are empty now since the version name no longer exists.
Is there any way to get the information back?
Hi,
of course it is possible you will need db backup and test JIRA instance.
From backup import only project where this information is missing.
Ha, guess I should have been more specific, in the UI without the backup.
That is what I thought we would have to do I was just hoping there was an easier (only person who has access to the files is gone for the day) way.
Thank you for the reply!
