'View in Issue Navigator' button on agile board doesn't apply filters in issue view

Adam McMillan February 7, 2018
  • To set up a board, you must first create a saved issue view, and order ASC by Rank
  • Create a board from that saved view
  • Click the 'View in Issue Navigator' button for your backlog
    • Works as expected: issue view opens with your view's query entered
  • Now click the 'View in Issue Navigator' button for a specific sprint
    • Expected: issue view opens with your view's query AND that sprint
    • Actual: issue view opens with just the sprint as the filter
  • Now apply a quick filter, and click the 'View in Issue Navigator' button for your backlog again
    •  Expected: issue view opens with your view's query in addition to the applied quick filters
    • Actual: issue view opens with just the original view's query applied

This seems like a good feature request to me. You might want to raise it in Atlassian's JIRA so you can track it.

Hey Jobin, could you point me to that? I'm new on this forum, and I'm not sure where to post it! Thank you
