Watcher not notified

steven_davis_tsico_com September 13, 2018

I am a watcher on all Service Desk tickets, but i don't always get notified when a customer adds a comment. For some i do for others i do not. If an @myusername is used then i of course get the notification.

Hi @steven_davis_tsico_com

You have to take a look at your notification scheme in your project settings

Thanks for the input, but All Watchers is listed on every event to receive a notification. Additionally, within the same project(there's only 1) it's behaving differently on different tickets. I get notified on some but not others. I should get notified on all (being a Watcher on all).

Are you sure you are a watcher on all tickets?

steven_davis_tsico_com September 13, 2018

Yes. Initially, i was always made a watcher upon assigning the issue to myself, but that got buggy and didn't always work so i added a Post Function to add me as a Watcher every time i assign the issue(to myself). This is something i do all day everyday, so it's a repeated process and rarely do i miss assigning it to myself (which would explain not being a Watcher). It's a very basic setup and as you can imagine, not getting notified when a customer responds to 1 of 239 tickets can lead to problems!

thanks again
