We currently are running JIRA Server 8.20.9 and have enabled the voting capability which is working and allowing anyone to vote except the reporter as expected. However, when we report on issues what have votes and try to ORDER BY or click on the Votes Column in the results we get the following error instead of a sorted list:
"Error occurred communicating with the server. Please reload the page and try again."
And please note that Voting has been Enabled and is working as mentioned and I have found the article that discusses how to search for issues with votes and how to use ORDER BY votes or click on the Votes Column. However this does not work.
I have seen it work here on your bugs site, but I figure that this is using JIRA Cloud which does not help me either since we are on JIRA Server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a number of projects that would like to use this feature.
