We have JDC and Active Directory (AD) integrated.

Is there a way to hide groups in Jira created via AD? Since these groups are not used in Jira Schemes.

Would large number of groups would impact JDC performance?

Hi Vinay,

Yes, you can create Group / User LDAP search filter. This way, Jira will only tighten groups designed for the Jira application.

Regarding performance - I think there may be a problem if your AD has more than 100,000 users.
