Hi @Jeevan Kumar K G

Are you using the "Fetch" action to refresh the newly created ticket?

Then you should be able to copy the fields from the Story to the task, one by one.

"Re-fetch issue data" is the proper name of it :)

Hi @Jeevan Kumar K G ,
I am part of the support team of Decadis AG and I would like to propose a solution using our app Jira Workflow Toolbox.

Issues can be created automatically in a transition and fields can also be set automatically.

If you need more information about this or other implementations, please do not hesitate to contact us in this thread or via our Support Service Desk or visit our documentation.

Best regards,

Nicolas

Hi @Jeevan Kumar K G,

It may be a bit of work, but it's not difficult. Automation has a clone issue action, where you can select all the fields you want to copy. Then, all you need to do is select copy from trigger issue for each field:

From your description, you probably want to add a link to the story you are creating this task from. To add such a link, also add the Linked Issues field, select the desired link type and link it to the trigger issue, as indicated here:

Hope this helps!
