Hallo toegther,
we have an active Jira on an Server Version V8.5.4. It is running in an VMWARE . There we also have an Sandbox for test. I set the Admin Passwort and start an clone of the produktive Server to the Sandbox. But there is no Passwort now working after the Clone from the Original. It should be the same. Than i do an Password Reset like this : https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-972329273.html
Also that Password is not working. What i have to do , to run an copie of Jira.

Hi Ralf
so you clone your jira prod and the corresponding database to your test environment, similar to the steps described at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/creating-a-test-environment-for-jira-966063324.html - correct?
Are your users managed within Jira or is an external user directory like LDAP connected?
Did you check the logs to see if there are any errors related to authentiction?
Cheers
Kurt

just to double check, so you clone the instance that hosts your jira application and the one that holds your database (assuming application and database are separated) - correct?
