We switched over to a Kanban Board and need to hide "Done" User stories

Deleted user July 31, 2019

#1 - We switched over to a Kanban Board and need to hide "Done" User stories and want to move 327 "Done" stories (from Scrum) into a hidden folder that we wont see on the board. How can we do this? Is it possible?

#2 - Going for ward, how we only display "Done" tickets for a given period on the board? Is their a filter that will work for this so the Done column doesn't grow again?

Thanks!!

Hi @[deleted] ,

There is no set time frame for displaying "Done" stories on your Kanban board; rather the "Done" stories will remain visible until the "fixversion" they are part of is released. Your admin or project lead will need to click the "Release" button at the top right of the board, select the version, and release it.

Note: if you don't have the fixversion field populated in the 327 issues you'll need to add them. If you don't have any versions set up then I suggest creating a "Base Release" version, bulk editing the "Done" issues to add them all to that version, then planing out your roadmap for versioning going forward.

Thank you ! I couldn't release it from the grayed out release above the board, but I WAS able to release it form the release/portfolio area. It worked fine. I assume there is a reason that I couldn't release it from the Kanban board (no releases appeared) since I probably should not have deleted the scrum board before I did this.
