What are all test cases need to be noted for jira upgrade

We are planning to upgrade jira version. so before upgradation we need to check all functionalities within jira to check wether same functionalities are working even after upgradation is done. i.e.,  I want list of all test cases,i need to check.

It would be near impossible as we do not have the same Jira configuration.

The basics I will check are

1. Can I still access JIRA
2. Are all data in JIRa the same as before the upgrade
3. Do all addons still work
4. Do people still have the same access levels
5. Did the upgrade break any configuration or customization we had in place.
6. if you have an email configured, does it still work as expected

These are some of the things I will check once the upgrade is done. Do ensure that your addons are upgraded to compatible versions prior to the upgrade.
