Please suggest best add-ons for initial stage of Jira.
So. I work for a (big) plugin vendor. I am not going to try to sell our stuff.
The answer I want to give is "nothing". Do not add to your Jira until you have good reason to.
You will find things that you do need to add "apps" for, and you will find them very quickly. But let your users drive it. Don't add anything and let them play, give them nothing and then be accepting when they say "I would like".
(But having said that, install the Jira toolkit. It's by Atlassian, it's free, and it's going to solve a good chunk of the problems you will get when first starting with Jira. I've got 5 others I would tell you to install, but they're not free, so there's more to talk about justifying the costs)
Wisest piece of advice from wise Nic :)

That is something you should ask yourself - what you would like JIRA to do for your organization. Based on that search for add-ons and check of that satisfies your requirement.
But now that you've already asked the question - try looking for add-ons that will create ISSUES in JIRA by actually not logging into JIRA :-) .
Try them out - e.g. Outlook :-)

3 that we find very useful are ScriptRunner, Suite Utilities for Jira (JSU), and Jira Misc Workflow Extenstions (JMWE).

I've been working for Valiantys (nFeed editor) and was in charge of their support platform, I've seen many contexts and it's powerful but it's a complex solution (which also comes at a price). You should use it if you plan on getting data from external sources!
Lucid chart is different, interesting but I'm more in draw.io for some reasons! Definitely a great app though, you can try it if you need to add sketching!
As per extension for JSD, it's probably one of the most sold as it's filling the most common gaps :)

I have another question what you have suggested the previous plugins. What are the benefits and challenges of using JMWE plugin?

Hi,
It would be difficult for us to provide some guidance as it really depends on your needs. There is no real App you MUST have but when you'll have a widespread use, you will probably feel the need for some! You can also have a look at marketplace filtered on most installs, that would give you an overview of what's the most popular!
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Unfortunately I might not be the one to suggest addons as I have no idea on what your needs are.
You should definitely try them in a staging environment if you want to see them in action!
Cheers
