What are these Jira logs?

I am trying to reclaim some space.  In folder var/log, I have the following logs:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1046 Feb 17 2021 MAR-Client-Install-1613531246.log

These go back to a year ago.  Are these needed?  Can they be deleted?

These are almost certainly not Jira logs. 

Jira does not

• place logs in /var/log unless you reconfigure it manually
• normally run as root, which is the owner of these logs
• create logs called  MAR-client-install.  The format of the name is wrong, let alone the words in it!

I'd guess these are something to do with a "MAR Client", whatever that may be!

The call to delete them is yours, the same goes with the period you want to keep logs.

From experience we don't keep them more than 2 months.
