What field ties to the version used in JIRA Agile?

When I organize issues into versions using Agile, it does not seem to impact the "Affects Version/s" field.

What field should this change in the Issue?  I want to be able to see the assigned version on the dedicated Issue page!

Affected version is "where the user found the issue".  

Fix versions is "where we plan to fix it, and where we fixed it, and how we're going to bundle fixes together, and so-on", and that's where it matters to Agile
