What happens to dashboard if owner account is deactivate?

The owner of several dashboards, who was a site admin (if that matters), is no longer with the company, and thus their account has been deactivated (not deleted). After a month (?), I noticed Jira moved all the dashboards to trash - ownership is None.

What is the expected behavior? When does Jira move Dashboards to the trash, if dashboard is not explicity deleted by the owner?

This is apparently expected behavior.

I found a similar post in this community that referred to a Closed Altassian Bug on the topic where that Bug has been marked "not a bug".
