What happens to my current tickets when I apply a new workflow to the project?

Heather Smith April 15, 2019

We have an existing project with over 200 issues in it.  We have decided that the current workflow is not effective.

I have created a new workflow, which has some new status labels in it and is missing some of the status labels that exist in the old workflow...

How do I introduce this new workflow and statuses without "losing" issues?

Hi @Heather Smith , you won't loose any issues, it will ask you to map to new workflow status.

Here, the old workflow having 'Open' status and the new workflow hasn't, will ask you to map new workflow status.

To introduce new workflow Go to -> Workflow schema and edit -> add workflow -> add existing then select issuetype you wish associate to new workflow and publish.

Best,

Tejas
