Our app was recently rejected because it seems the functions of the app are apparently unclear.
Therefore, I ask what information needs to be available about the app and in what form.
In my opinion, we have a meaningful overview and documentation.
I think the app approval guidelines are pretty imprecise on this subject. I don't know what might be missing.
(I guess it was rejected by the Atlassian Marketplace approval staff.)
The first thing I'd do is pointing them to the precisely written end-user documentation and offer them that you're ready to answer any technical question related to the details of the app logic.
Also you can always comment on the approval ticket and ask for reasoning.
I'd suggest sharing your description with someone else in the Atlassian community, to see if they can understand it. That's one of the things Atlassian is looking for when they read a marketplace product description - would it make sense to someone who is browsing the marketplace for apps that do what yours does?

Isn't this possible that the given ticket was created on behalf of some other user, not you???
That would also explain why you don't know the reason for being rejected. Maybe Atlassian gave a detailed answer to that ticket, but you haven't received (the other user has)...
