What impact does it have on the database if I delete my sprint in jira. Does the database have the same data, or does the data get overwritten with the new sprint data.

Hello @Vikhyath Pati 

Deleting the sprint, removes the sprint information from the database, that's all. When you create a new sprint then a new set of rows get added in respective DB tables.

Hello,

By "data" you mean issues? If you remove a sprint, then if the sprint was not completed, all issues will go to the backlog. If the sprint is completed, then you will not see the issues in the backlog, but the sprint field for the issues will be cleared.
