I would like to see list of projects and understand priority of importance, timeline when they will be completed, and list of employee resources involved.

Hello @Bryce Zaremby ,

IO'm Iñigo from the dashboard hub team. I would like to recommend you our app Dashboard Hub for Jira . We created an app that allows you to create and share easily dashboards with many different gadgets, or add those gadgets to jira dashboards.

And if them are not enough for you we provide a gadget called Jira Custom Charts that allows you to retrieve info from jira and show it in the way you prefer: tables, charts... Here you have some info about it

Hopefully it can help you with the issues you have

Hi @Bryce Zaremby

Welcome to the community!

It depends on what you are trying to achieve with the dashboards. If you can explain this in detail, that may help. Anyway, there are many different ways to get information in Jira OOTB. Jira reports are useful but seem limited. If you are open to a marketplace solution, I recommend Mindpro Insights. I work at Mindpro, and the app was developed to work across all project types.

You can easily create your dashboards with pre-loaded or custom gadgets (there are over 50 available gadgets, including project, agile, custom, and ITSM gadgets). You choose what best suits your needs. The dashboards are shareable and easy to build; every Jira user can create dashboards with this app:

I hope that helps.

Regards,

Eduardo.

Hello @Bryce Zaremby !
To see all those information in one place, the best way to achieve is using a dashboard plugin like EazyBI or a external BI consuming data from Jira like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

But you could achieve this in plans, not considering as Dashboard. You could create a plan where you show all the projects. But in the other hand, Advanced Roadmap have a certain limit of issues that can show.

Hi @Bryce Zaremby

eazyBI can definitely help with creating dashboards that show project priorities, timelines, and the resources involved. It offers a lot of flexibility for bringing together data from Jira and presenting it in a clear, customized way.

With eazyBI, you can:

  • Set up interactive dashboards to track project progress
  • Compare different projects side by side
  • Get a better understanding of team allocation across tasks
  • Create custom visualizations and reports
  • Share dashboards through Jira or email subscriptions

For a practical example of what's possible with eazyBI dashboards, you can explore our demo Project Overview dashboard.

Read more about eazyBI dashboards: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/publish-reports/create-dashboards

Best,
Marita from eazyBI support
