What is the best resource management plugin?

Our project leads want to be able to view a list of resources and a list of open issues in the same screen, then be able to assign those issues to a resource from the same screen.  Is there a plugin or app that gives this functionality?

Jira itself have some gadgets (Issue statistics Gadget) that you can use to check the resources you have together with the number of issues they are currently assigned, so your project leads could use the issue navigator to see the unassigned issues and assign them to the resources they want.

However, if you want to have a more detailed solution, you could test the following apps:

- BigPicture - Project Management & PPM

- BigGantt - Gantt Chart for Jira
