I cannot figure out a way, or the right way to setup or use JIRA for my use case, which is as follows. I have facility A, B, C, & D. I want to generate an issue and apply it to all or possibly just 2 or 3 of the facilities. This is where I don't know what approach to take. Should I be trying to do this with sub-tasks? Or make each facility it's own project? What is important to me in this scenario is to be able to complete the issue on facility A while leaving it open on B and being able to view what is still open. Generating multiple tickets, one for each facility would be fine. Ideally I would like to type it once check off which facilities it's for and hit create and have it do its thing. Any idea on what approach to take would be appreciated.
One idea would be to use cloning. So you create an issue for facility A (a custom field of type select list). Then you take this issue and clone it > change facility to B > clone it again > change facilty to C ...
So you could end up with one issue for each facility.
