I need "Automation for Jira" to set a comment every time a ticket is transitioned to a specific status but it doesn't have permissions to do it
because I've some permission constraint set on that status.
What is the correct property value I have to use?
Hi @Giada Noè - Check the permission scheme for that project and be sure that add-ons have the ability to add comments.
It should look something like:
Are you sure that the person causing the execution of the rule also has the permission? And is this rule being executed as the result of another rule? You might want to check the box for Allow trigger rule on the Rule details page.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I'm an admin user executing the rule, I don't think the other things you're suggesting would solve.
Do you know what is the correct jira.permission property value for "Automation for Jira"?
