Hi @[deleted],

What do you mean by SI vs FAC vs DM? What is the abbreviation for?

Another great question. :)

That's part of the answer I'm looking for.

Those are not acronyms/abbreviations in use in Jira, so they must be something your administrators have set up.

We can't really tell you much, as we can't know what they are!

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- is correct. Jira Administrators usually make different workflows and name them differently. The name usually correlates to the name of the project. Different workflows usually consist of different statuses, transitions, conditions, etc. which aren't effective for every project.

I'm our Jira Administrator. I have not created any custom workflows. We're using what is packaged with Jira.

The Select Project Workflow Scheme drop down has 5 options for me.

Default

Classic

Jira Service Desk IT Support Workflow Scheme generated for Project SI

Jira Service Desk IT Support Workflow Scheme generated for Project DM

Jira Service Desk IT Support Workflow Scheme generated for Project FAC

The acronym SI appears to correspond with the Project Key as it is also the first part of our ticket numbers.

We only have 1 project though so DM and FAC don't apply to our tenant.

Where could these be coming from?

@[deleted],

These workflows were created automatically by Jira when a Jira Service Desk was created. I'd search your service desk projects if those project keys no longer exist. Also in the Jira setting, under issues, in the workflow schemes, the page shows you what scheme is associated with what project.

I think I understand now, and believe I know where these came from. Thank you very much for you help, both of you.
