Hi,

According to our configuration we are unable to resolve tickets which contain an archived version (fix version).

I need to know in general whether this is the expected behavior or should it be possible to resolve issues in archived versions? (general truth or how things work in general. are people fix issues even the affected version is archived or not.)

Any suggestion is welcome ☺️

Sounds odd, the status of the version should have no effect on the ability to change the issue (unless you've implemented something to make it so)

Sorry @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- maybe i wasn't clearly explained my question.

as you said we have configured it to be that way.

I want to know whether our configuration is a best practice or there is no point in this configuration.

initially when we decided to do this configuration we through that if a version is archived there is no point of resolving bugs that are reported for the archived version.

but now we are wondering whether this is how other people do or not. in general as a practice do people fix bugs related to archived version?
