What's currently a good way to export from Jira and back into Jira sandbox?

A peer at my company said they got hung-up on the field mappings needed so if there's any suggestions or tips/tricks we'd appreciate it!

If you want to do a full restore of your production setup on your sandbox, just create a xml backup and do a system restore, see Restoring data from an xml backup. I do this from time to time to keep my test environment up to date with production.
