What's your go-to method for bulk deletion of Jira objects? (without purchasing an app)

There is no easy way to delete multiple objects in Jira. Even if we want to do them one by one there is a waiting period between each as the system deletes and then refreshes the page instead of refreshing the list.
My current go-to is opening the menu and scroll-clicking on delete to open 20 or so delete tabs and then deleting from tab to tab and closing.
Are there any other/better ways?
