Hi,
I am evaluating JIRA Capture and cannot figure out where Templates come into play. A bug is a bug and has a fixed set of information to capture (Severity/Reproducibility/Steps to Reproduce /Sprint etc).
Is a template simply a way to have variation in the information captured as part of a bug i.e Front End testing - create specific drops downs(UX/UI/API), MIddleware etc. From a black box test perspective a test case either fails or not.
Why would a Test Session relate to a specific template? - Regression test type bug/Feature type bug etc???
Any help greatly appreciated.
Jimmy
