What the different for the Jira client version and data center version?

As i known, for now there are Data center(offline) and Cloud version(with on line). how about the client version? What's the different for client version and data center version?

Jira Client is a Desktop interface that connects to your main jira instance (server/data center),

It is completely seperate to Jira and is not a version of it.

it basically tries to replace the use of a web browser to access Jira, it's not developped by Atlassian, in fact it has reached end of life more than a year ago and is no longer worked on.
