When I create a Multi-Project Board how do I stop that being the default board for those projects?

When I create a new board from the View all boards drop down, and base that board on a filter including several projects.

Every time I go to the individual Project from the Project Drop Down I see the multi Project board. I have to select the three dots to revert to the Projects Own Board. But when I leave the project and come back to it, the multi board automatically is selected again.

I would expect to be able to set a default board for my Project, or at least it should remember that the last board I selected is the one I should see by default.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Hi Michael,

I do not believe there is a way currently to set a default board for a project.   So while you cannot set a default board for a project at this time, there is a feature request for this in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-11952

The only other way you might be able to mitigate this behavior for most of your users could be to restrict the filter in use for that board.   This behavior will still happen for users that need to see that board, but for other users that don't need to use that board at all, you could avoid this problem for them just by limiting which users/groups that you share this filter with.   Users that cannot see that filter in turn won't be able to see that board at all.

Sorry there does not appear to be a better solution for this yet, but I would recommend watching that feature request and voting on that issue as well.  Should a solution or alternative work-around come about, I would expect that page to be updated with details about it.
