When agent comments automatically assign to them

I want to create a rule that states when a comment is added by an agent then that ticket is automatically assigned to that agent.  Is that possible?

Alison,

  You can do this one of two ways.

  1. Insert a transition into the workflow that makes the assignment when the issue transitions as a post function.  This would require them to click the transaction button at the top of the issue or it would not work.
  2. Use an app like automation for Jira to make this happen on comment.
