When copying and pasting instructions or templates into the comments area, the formatting/bolding/numbering does not seem to stay as the original document has it. The option to maintain the original formatting of the language would be beneficial, as a lot of thought does go into our instructions to practices. Most times, once the language is in Jira, there is a good amount of re-formatting to match the original formatting.
Just reread your question, are the comments using the wiki renderer? https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-renderers-938847270.html
