When i see the list of tests in a particular test execution, few entries are incorrect format

I have a Test plan that has 577 tests. All are passed. 1 particular test execution has 105 tests and 95 show as passed whereas 10 show as failed. The issue is that all those 10 are showing "? ? ?  ? ?  ?" in the test case list. When i deep dived i could see that few tests were written in the incorrect format hence JIRA could not process them. My issue is then why are they reflecting as FAILED
